Hides and skins are sourced from animals (Cow and Buffalo), forming the foundation of the leather production process.

The hides undergo drum liming, where lime is used to remove hair and other unwanted materials. This step also helps loosen the fibers and prepare the hides for subsequent treatments.

The limed hides are treated in a solution containing salt and acid. This pickling process helps in further cleaning and prepares the hides for the tanning stage.

Tanning is a critical step where tanning agents are applied to stabilize the collagen fibers within the hides. This process renders the leather more resistant to decay, providing durability and longevity to the final product.

Leather can be dyed to achieve the desired color. This step adds aesthetic appeal to the material, allowing for a wide range of colors and finishes.

After tanning and dyeing, the leather is dried using controlled methods. This prevents distortion and ensures the material maintains its shape and characteristics.

Surface treatments are applied in the finishing stage to achieve the final appearance and texture of the leather. Techniques such as embossing, buffing, or coating contribute to the desired aesthetic and tactile qualities.

The finished leather undergoes rigorous quality control checks. This involves thorough inspection to ensure that the leather meets the desired standards for strength, color consistency, texture, and overall quality. Any deviations from the set standards are addressed and corrected to maintain the highest quality.
